Join us for McMaster Water Week 2017!
October 30 – November 3
McMaster Water Network and McMaster Water Network Student Chapter are excited to invite you to our annual week-long event showcasing water research and careers at McMaster University and across southern Ontario; developing networks of like-minded water-oriented students and professionals to promote careers and future collaborative endeavours.
McMaster Water Week 2017 is open and free to all, and our events include our Keynote Lecture by 2007 Nobel Peace Prize co-recipient Henry Pollack, our Career Night, as well as a guided tour of the Canada Centre for Inland Waters. The week will end with our Student Research Showcase with poster competition (with cash prizes up for grabs) and Closing Ceremony that will feature a talk and Q&A by TVO’s ‘The Water Brothers’, Alex and Tyler Mifflin. This year, presenters from outside McMaster are eligible to take part in our research showcase, so feel free to share this with your friends and colleagues at other institutions.
Please note our deadline (Friday Oct 13th) for abstract submission is fast approaching!
