“150 Years of Resilience: An Untold History”
Please joins us and the Elders who have helped us envision this project – the reveal of a contemporary wampum representing the history of Indigenous (First Nations, Metis & Inuit) people of Canada. We will be honouring Indigenous Veterans at this event. Two artists (Kaylin Parker & Ric Langlois) will also have their work displayed.
FREE food and beverages will be provided.
September 27 @ 2 p.m. – BSB Field
MISCA will be facilitating an interactive presentation regarding the history of colonization.

“Indigenous Social Justice Forum: Activism”
Four speakers will discuss education (Coty Zachariah), food sustainability (Danielle Boissoneau), 60’s Scoop (Ric Langlois), & MMIW&M (Jen Mt.Pleasant) with a Q & A to begin a dialogue.
Free snacks and beverages will be provided.
